They do not provide any benefit that I can think of in an education setting and as you already mentioned, cause harm when youth use it as a tool to socialize. So districts should be blocking those websites from being accessed on district computers and tables and while connected to the district's WiFi network. ![[coquitlam-dana-ebtekar.webp\|200]] - [Candidate website](https://danaebtekar.weebly.com/) - [Candidate biography](https://votemate.org/c/13427/?riding=799) ### Candace Knoll %% Emailed: 2026-09-28 %% ![[coquitlam-candace-knoll.webp\|200]] - [Candidate website](http://www.candaceknoll.com) - [Candidate biography](https://votemate.org/c/13419/?riding=799) ### Rosey Manhas %% Emailed: 2026-09-28 %% ![[coquitlam-rosey-manhas.webp\|200]] - [Candidate website](https://roseymanhas.ca/) ### Shreya Qazi %% Emailed: 2026-09-28 %% ![[coquitlam-shreya-qazi.webp\|200]] - [Candidate website](https://www.shreyaqazi.ca/) - [Candidate biography](https://votemate.org/c/13418/?riding=799) ### Natalie Wang %% Emailed: 2026-09-28 %% ![[coquitlam-natalie-wang.webp\|200]] - [Candidate website](https://nathalie-portfolio-nu.vercel.app/) - [Candidate biography](https://votemate.org/c/13417/?riding=799) ### Craig Woods ![[coquitlam-craig-woods.webp\|200]] - [Candidate website](https://www.facebook.com/CraigWoodsforCoqTrustee) --- ## City of Port Coquitlam - [Official website](https://www.portcoquitlam.ca/our-government/elections/candidates) with list of candidates Candidates listed in alphabetical order by family name: - [[#Andrea Chambers]] - [[#Sadie Harber]] - [[#Christine Pollock]] - [[#Julie Sherwood]] - [[#Michael Thomas]] - [[#Blaire West]] ### Andrea Chambers %% Emailed: 2026-09-28 %% ![[coquitlam-andrea-chambers.webp\|200]] ### Sadie Harber %% Emailed: 2026-09-28 %% ![[coquitlam-sadie-harber.webp\|200]] ### Christine Pollock %% Emailed: 2026-09-28 %% ![[coquitlam-christine-pollock.webp\|200]] - [Candidate website](https://pocochristine.com/#home) > [!warning] Statement on AI in schools > #### Artificial Intelligence in Schools > AI can be a valuable teaching and learning tool when properly supervised. > (Source: [Votemate policies](https://votemate.org/bc2026/candidates/13441?t=policies)) ### Julie Sherwood %% NOT YET EMAILED, HAVEN'T FOUND ADDRESS %% ![[coquitlam-julie-sherwood.avif\|200]] ### Michael Thomas %% Emailed: 2026-09-28 %% ![[coquitlam-michael-thomas.webp\|200]] - [Candidate website](https://www.thomasfrompoco.ca/) ### Blaire West %% Emailed: 2026-09-28 %% ![[coquitlam-blaire-west.webp\|200]] --- ## City of Port Moody Candidates listed in alphabetical order by family name: - [[#Emily Cheadle]] - [[#Tracy Green]] - [[#Jessica Morrison]] - [[#Carola Thompson]] ### Emily Cheadle %% Emailed: 2026-09-28 %% ![[coquitlam-emily-cheadle.webp\|200]] - [Candidate website](https://emilycheadle.com/) - [Candidate biography](https://votemate.org/bc2026/candidates/13933) - [Instagram](https://www.instagram.com/cheadle.forsd43) ### Tracy Green %% Emailed: 2026-09-28 %% ![[coquitlam-tracy-green.webp\|200]] - [Candidate website](https://tracygreen.ca/) - [Candidate biography](https://votemate.org/bc2026/candidates/13483?riding=813) - [Instagram](https://www.instagram.com/tracygreenbc) ### Jessica Morrison %% Emailed: 2026-09-28 %% ![[coquitlam-jessica-morrison.webp\|200]] - [Candidate website](https://www.jessicaforsd43.com/) - [Candidate biography](https://votemate.org/bc2026/candidates/13934?riding=813) - [Instagram](https://www.instagram.com/jessicaforsd43) ### Carola Thompson %% Emailed: 2026-09-28 %% ![[coquitlam-carola-thompson.webp\|200]] - [Candidate biography](https://votemate.org/bc2026/candidates/13448?riding=813) - [Instagram](https://www.instagram.com/carolaforschooltrustee) --- ## Villages of Anmore and Belcarra - [Belcarra website](https://belcarra.ca/election-2026/) - [Anmore website](https://anmore.com/village-hall/elections/) ### Kerri Palmer Isaak %% Emailed: 2026-09-28 %% ![[belcarra-kerri-palmer-isaak.webp\|200]]
